Dr. Charlotte Heppner received her medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and completed her residency at Mountain Area Health Education Center in Asheville, North Carolina. Prior to her medical training she studied Economics and holds
an MS in International Health Policy from the London School of Economics.
Her professional interests include Lifestyle Medicine, Addiction Medicine, and mental health in primary care.
In her free time Dr. Heppner enjoys tennis, running, violin, and a good British mystery.
Dr. Heppner is knowledgable, caring, listens and is attentive.

I have a great mistrust of doctors from previous bad experiences. But Dr. Heppner is by far the best doctor I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, and has restored my faith in getting medical help. She is always kind and empathetic, and she always makes me feel heard. I was actually shocked when she asked for my input on what I wanted for treatment options, as I’ve never had a doctor do that. I’ve had a lot of trauma in my life, and she actually made me feel more in control of my own well-being, a feeling I had never had before meeting her.
